Hosta ‘Carolina Blue’

‘Carolina Blue’ (Solberg 2000) (‘Halcyon’ X ‘Riptide’) - Medium, (16” X 30”) How do you create a bluer hosta that holds that color longer? Use two types of white wax instead of one. The rounded light blue leaves of this medium-sized hosta are covered with wax on the top and bottom; light lavender flowers on blue scapes in July and August. Ideal for some morning sun if kept moist.
