Hosta Nutty Professor

Nutty Professor (Mary Ann Metz) (Sport of ‘Maekawa’) - Medium-Large, (16” X 44”) This sport of the “white-backed” hosta, H. hypoleuca, produces a few very large arching leaves from each division that are light green with a wide, white undulating margin. Place this hosta by itself above a rock or two, so that it can show off its beautiful variegation and its waxy, white leaf backs. Light lavender flowers in August on low arching scapes. Very different.
