New to hostas? Sometimes the lists of hostas are overwhelming and it is hard to choose which ones are right for your collection. Hosta prices can be overwhelming too. If a hosta has a high price tag, it is new, rare, and usually very unique and desirable. If you can wait a few years, and not all of us can, the prices usually come down. By then we also have a good idea which new hostas are good growing garden plants and deserve a long life in the hosta world. The good news is that hosta prices, even for the newest hostas, have steadily come down over the past ten years.

CarolinaBlue To help you choose hostas that will prosper in your garden, I have selected from our list several that are moderately priced and grow easily under a wide range of gardening conditions. Since they are at least a few years old, I can vouch for them being pretty hostas and good growing hostas. There are some of all sizes and most colors. As a group they would form the basis for any good new hosta collection.

Paradigm All these hostas are at least one large blooming size division but many are two or more divisions. All have the famous Green Hill Farm extensive root systems and come with our Satisfaction Guarantee.

If you have questions, do not hesitate to e-mail or call us. I can help you choose the perfect hosta for that special spot in your garden. Send your question using email on the RESPONSE FORM or call us at 919-309-0649.

**The Deal with the "Two for Twenty" Deal

We are offering several hostas that normally retail for $15.00 in a special "Two for Twenty" promotion. You can buy one plant for 15.00 or you can buy "Two for Twenty". Most of these plants are blooming size single divisions but some are doubles. So, you could share these special Hostas with a friends or just plant both divisions in the same hole and have a really nice clump next season. Either way it is good value for good hostas.
